Cant seem to see my CDrom with 9.1 and VMware
Looking through google and various places, I see issues with VMWare & 9.1 with the 2.6.4-52-default kernel, Does anyone have a work around to get the cdrom to be accessed? its odd, I cant even use an .iso file..
My cdrom is /dev/cdrecorder, I even edited my FSTAB to make it /dev/ cdrom but still does not work..
I had the same problem. Just go to your virtual machine settings and check "Legasy emulation" to be 'selected' for your "DVD/CD-ROM" virtual hardware. Regards, Dmitry
