K3B - losing config information?
Hello folks. I've got a weird problem that has appeared since upgrading KDE and some other thing, though I don't know if that is what caused the problem. Anyways, I run K3B-Setup and it finds the devices and programs and everything is good. However, when I run K3B it doesn't seem to detect the devices and says some of the programs are not available ( even though this all was detected by the setup ). Anybody know how to fix this? Is there a new version of K3B? I have the version that was installed with SuSE 8.1 Thanks again, Jim

I am running 8.1 and k3b-setup finds mksiofs but does not change the group. It must be cdrecording for k3b client to find the executible. See if that is not your problem. I more frequently use xcdroast which wants the group to be xcdwriter. -- Patrick Shanahan Registered Linux User #207535 http://wahoo.no-ip.org @ http://counter.li.org
