I am looking where to find a package called "Qt" or a version, Qt-1.41? It has to do with installing some K based software, which like other programs (WvDial SO5) requires the glibc libraries.... Fire up YaST with your S.u.S.E. CD. You should find it in xdev. If you are using S.u.S.E. 5.3 the version # is 1.33-8 though. Maybe the more recent one is on the S.u.S.E. site ( I'm using 1.41 but from sources.) if you want RPM, dunno. P.S. by 'K software' do you mean KDE ? -M - To get out of this list, please send email to majordomo@suse.com with this text in its body: unsubscribe suse-linux-e Check out the SuSE-FAQ at <A HREF="http://www.suse.com/Support/Doku/FAQ/"><A HREF="http://www.suse.com/Support/Doku/FAQ/</A">http://www.suse.com/Support/Doku/FAQ/</A</A>> and the archiv at <A HREF="http://www.suse.com/Mailinglists/suse-linux-e/index.html"><A HREF="http://www.suse.com/Mailinglists/suse-linux-e/index.html</A">http://www.suse.com/Mailinglists/suse-linux-e/index.html</A</A>>

This is true, but they don't automatically put the latest version of every app in their 'Bugfixes and Updates' section. No qt, for example, at least not that I saw, and that seemed to be what Richard was asking about....hmm actually there isn't even an xdevel subdirectory there at all...

Thanks, for sharing the wealth. I just _assumed_ (:-)) all updates to 5.3 versions would be under /pub/SuSE-Linux/suse_update/suse53. Thanks, Still dinking around trying to get SO 5.0 up. Tried moving off the AccelX server/manager side to XF86 and it broke xterm with a seg fault every time I tried running it. Backed down to the XF86 version on the 5.3 CD's and xterm works now. Just wondering what to upgrade to get support for the G200 and (not lose xterm of course :), and get SO 5.0 installed ?
