char-major and block-major?
Dear SuSE'ers I see many messages in /var/log/messages like this example: Jul 1 11:15:10 linux modprobe: modprobe: Can't locate module char-major-10-134 How may I find what is reffered to as char-major-10-134? or other similar things? I know I'm letting my in-experiance show! Thanks! ........... PeterB

You need to look into /usr/src/linux/Documentation/devices.txt file which is part of kernel-source rpm.
