How to record a conversion from one computer to the Internet

I need to figure out how one Windows program is communicating with other sites on the net. The windows machine is behind a Suse linux box (firewall). I need only to record 60 seconds. ethereal [or any other good "packet sniffer"] since you imply this is "internal', there should not be much concern over privacy rights, etc., but watch you someone doesn't try to hang you for "reverse engineering"
