Hi, I'm confused whether I setup PC for Asterisk right or not (it's recomendation not to share any interrupt with other devices)..s.... Module qozap is alone (yet not sharing) in interrupt 209 (isn't this too high for native interrupt). Is interrupt shared with others ? If yes, how to setup better ? Thanks in advance, regards, Rob. voip:~ # cat /proc/interrupts CPU0 CPU1 0: 2874244 0 IO-APIC-edge timer 1: 30 0 IO-APIC-edge i8042 9: 0 0 IO-APIC-level acpi 12: 78 0 IO-APIC-edge i8042 14: 8862 1 IO-APIC-edge ide0 15: 52 0 IO-APIC-edge ide1 177: 483517 0 IO-APIC-level Intel ICH5 185: 10531 0 IO-APIC-level SysKonnect SK-98xx 209: 1951868 0 IO-APIC-level qozap NMI: 0 0 LOC: 2874235 2874318 ERR: 0 MIS: 0

Virtual interrupts are being used. The only time you need to be concern about physical interrupts if you have an old ISA card that needs to be manually set. Depending on your motherboard BIOS, you can assigned an interrupt to a particular slot. Usually, this is something you leave alone. Christopher Reimer http://www.creimer.ws
