Hi, i have a little problem with my printer i am trying to set up a printer which is connected to a windows machine and i reach it through samba, i already set up another printer and it works perfect. this printer is connected in the parallel port of the windows machine, is a Laser Jet 1200 HP, and i am using Yast to set it up. then i go to my browser and i type localhost:631/printers so i can see both printers in the cups system. then i try to print a test page in this machine but then i get an error message "Tree connect failed" i don't know what it could be, i would thank a little help with this. bye

Perhaps it is http://en.opensuse.org/SDB:CUPS_-_No_Printout_on_the_XP_Client if not, see http://en.opensuse.org/SDB:Printing_via_SMB_%28Samba%29_Share_or_Windows_Sha... to find out what actually goes wrong.
