Install qt-experimental. That will make all of KDE 2.0.1 or 2.1 nice looking, if you are using KDE 2.1.1, do that step, then go to the Control Center, then "Look and Feel", and then "style." From there click "Enable Anti-Aliasing."
I maked before a Kernel actualization to 2.4. After this I installed qt-experimental, but when I rebooted PC only appears the Linux console screen (before appears for one second the graphic screen) ask me for the root). I enter like root and I try to re-start with startx, but only the mouse appears in the screen. I try to configure again the parameters with Sax, but this seems not useful. Now seems impossible to start so my xwindow now seems dead :-( It's Kernel 2.4 not compatible with qt-experimental? Thanks, -------------------- Vicente C. vcuenta02@arrakis.es

I used 2.4.4 with qt-experimental/TrueType/AA fonts, and all is well. 2.4 is obviously booting up your computer to the shell prompt, but for some reason KDE is not starting. What version of XFree86 are you running? Good luck, Steven
