[opensuse] Re: Upgrade from 11.0 beta3 to beta3 plus?

Thanks for your email, but factory is indeed what you have said, and I don't want a moving target, but a frozen snapshot, and I believie that beta3+ certainly is one. How can I upgrade to the last "official" snapshot (not factory)? that would be 10.3 which is about seven months old. "factory" is *always* going to be a moving target until it is gold and then it will not be "factory", but 11.0 in the present case. The last "not moving target" available would be the last release, 10.3. -- Patrick Shanahan Plainfield, Indiana, USA HOG # US1244711 http://wahoo.no-ip.org Photo Album: http://wahoo.no-ip.org/gallery2 Registered Linux User #207535 @ http://counter.li.org -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org

What you have is what there is. B3+ is any factory after b3 and before rc1 and is a moving target, ie, the current state. You can go to a site like gwdg, and they have frozen repos of beta3 and beta2; both the iso and the repo itself, because the manager of that site made the photo of the repo. And as I said, for factory specific questions you should ask in the factory list. - -- Cheers, Carlos E. Not entirely true. The betaXplus are as well snapshots, but they are Novell internal only (exceptions can happen). So a random factory installation can NOT be called betzXplus per se. Andres, As I said, the betaXplus snapshots are purely used Novell internal and are, as snapshot, not downloadable. You'll have to wait for the next public release, which is scheduled to happen on May 29 and will be called RC1.
