This is the only shutdown sequence I find. Is this for a kde shutdown or xfce?
From the timing, it looks like you did an immediate reboot. I'm not knowledgeable enough to tell you the significance of the /proc/3200/environ error is, but I am sure that others on the list could tell you.
Basically, I was thinking that if you take this portion of your syslog from a kde shutdown and compare it to the same portion of an xfce shutdown, it would give us a clue as to what process is missing.
