[S.u.S.E. Linux] Hostname is incorrect

Hello Question on HOSTNAME. YaST - Configure FQHOSTNAME says hostname of the system (full name) if zero, and bootp is used above, bootp will also set the hostname (e.g. "riemann.suse.de" or "hugo.linux.de") don't forget to also edit /etc/hosts for your system /etc/rc.config FQHOSTNAME="mtntop.home.org" SuSE Linux 5.1 page 245 1st paragraph /etc/HOSTNAME (last sentence) This file is also automatically generated via settings in /etc/rc.config my /etc/HOSTNAME mtntop I discovered this while installing Qmail on this SuSE 5.1 system.
