Hi all, Anyone around who managed to get the Lexar-F35 storage+fingerprint working with SuSE? They claimed that it was compatible under Linux, however, the small-print (after buying it) says: only the storage-part, not the fingerprint-reader.

Don't have one, but I know there were strong warnings against using similar fingerprint readers for authentication like on HP laptops, etc.. It basically came down to no specific kernel code for the devices and no guarantees that the reader libraries would be available or compatible with further changes. -- David C. Rankin, J.D.,P.E.
