Depends on where you wish to block it.
Sorry, I missed out the 'kmail' in the Subject. I'm sure there is a filter mechanism in kmail somewhere, otherwise you can always killfile an address with a procmail recipe. /Per -- Per Jessen, Zürich (9.6°C) -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org

Phew. The latter is beyond me. Everything else under Settings is very easy to overlook as there are so many options. I'm just looking for one option so that a particular address stops sending e-mails to me. Not _who_, _where_. Log into your account with your ISP set up the block there. -- Ken Schneider SuSe since Version 5.2, June 1998 -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org

Can't you just right-click on a message from foo@bar and choose "add filter" (or similar)? My KMail can... but I'm still on KDE 3.5... I can then select "filter for sender address", finally say "mark as read" and "move to trash". Of yourse the sender isn't really blocked, but I'll never see his mails again... regards Daniel -- Daniel Bauer photographer Basel Barcelona professional photography: http://www.daniel-bauer.com erotic art photos: http://www.bauer-nudes.com Madagascar special: http://www.fotograf-basel.ch/madagascar/ -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org

There is a filter system in Kmail. Look under Settings, and then Filters or POP filters, depending on your needs. There is an option to delete the message on the server. If you really wish to block someone's address, or bounce the message back to them, you would need to do so at the receiving mail server. If your mailbox provider is cool: Settings -> Manage Sieve Scripts... Otherwise: Settings -> Configure Filters... -- Boyd Stephen Smith Jr. ,= ,-_-. =. bss@iguanasuicide.net ((_/)o o(\_)) ICQ: 514984 YM/AIM: DaTwinkDaddy `-'(. .)`-' http://iguanasuicide.net/ \_/
