But only way, I am solving it by restarting my laptop. :-(

Somewhere there is a button to accept this certificate forever. The problem: Google issues their own certificate. They are big enough that they don't have to have anyone else vouch for their identity. Yet many packages Kmail, and I believe, Thunderbird do not trust self-signed certificates by default. Those applications that don't provide a button for you to say, ok. -- _____________________________________ ---This space for rent--- -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse+owner@opensuse.org

What would happen if you use smtp.googlemail.com instead? -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse+owner@opensuse.org

It is not germane to your problem. They both go to the same place, which can be a different place each time you us them. Google uses a load balancing routing for Gmail and pinging smtp servers will often differ from one try to the next. -- _____________________________________ ---This space for rent--- -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse+owner@opensuse.org
