I decided to get a little too brave and tried to make lilo handle both of them. I added dos to the existing lilo.conf with yast. then i executed /sbin/lilo. On rebooting lilo gave some hex error code. In frustration I did fdisk /MBR on the hard disk that contains the linux system and then tried modifying lilo.conf again. now when lilo should hopefully work when I boot on the linux disk I get a screen of repeating 010101010101..... I can bring linux up by booting from the CD's and to make this long story short----how can I fix this short of reinstalling my linux system completely? <p>Shop Safely Online Without a Credit Card http://www.rocketcash.com
