As root, delete that file /tmp/mcop-root/linux_local-0cb3-3ed922bb. I see this occur if my system locks-up/freezes or appears to be locked-up/frozen and I hit the reset button or power cycle the machine. Most recent issue for me is a hard drive going bad and I'm too impatient to wait for an error message to appear. I delete the file and then logout, login as whatever user had the problem. Looks like you may have been or are logged in as root. Stan
