You are welcomed to SuSe milind. I find suse 9.1 is what you should target, it is veryeasy to configure, license and copyright is no issues with suse anymore. YAST is also GLPed now. Just get it and use it. Wishing you a save and smooth migration.

Milind

Switched from Mandrake to SuSE - I love it! Corporate games at mdk crippled the distro. On the transition from RH to SuSE -- small learning curve, but WELL worth the effort. SuSE 8.2 and 9.0 are quality products. Haven't tried 9.1 yet. The only differences between RH/mdk and SuSE distros is the old "where in the hell did they hide the xyz file this time" and "why have the config parameters been moved from file x to file y" Nothing more than the price of progress. Frustrating, but well worth the move......... Good luck.. -- David C. Rankin, J.D., P.E. Regards,
Milind SuSE 9.1 is worth the try, still awaiting delivery of mine. I just upgraded from Mandrake 9.2 to 10.0 on another box and just about to install it on another one which was running 10.0 beta2, but used the HD on this one to troubleshoot a problem with a new mobo/CPU/mem, turned out to be a bad CPU . No issues either way. Also running SuSE 9.0 on one box, on 1 laptop and SuSE 9.0 x86_64 on another laptop. Happy with all 5 installs. Regards Sid. -- Sid Boyce ....
