Check your KDE proxy settings? Perhaps there is an http_proxy environment variable being set by whatever you're using to start konqueror? Perhaps your kio http slave died, kill it? If no one else comes up with any suggestions, a -very- long shot suggestion is to delete your ~/.kde directory. Kiss all your settings goodbye, hope it was something in your user-level settings that broke it.. (Actually, that gives me a better idea -- create a new user / or use an existing different user, and test konqueror there too.) Hope you can figure something out :)

Hi Hans Have you checked your proxy settings for HTTP traffic in konqueror? It sounds like you have a proxy defined for only that protocol and of course it's not working. Check under Settings:Configure Konqueror:Proxy and make sure it is all correct. Hans Krueger wrote:
