We are extremely fortunate users and administrators when we have 4 *excellent* distributions to bounce around between: Debian, Caldera, RedHat, SuSE. I myself have 3 of the 4 running all the time just to keep up with what's happening with each distribution. Bring on the errata, it sure is nice getting timely fixes to bugs and security holes!! Who says competition isn't good!! Later, and Eric I'll catch ya on the Hurricane list :) Lach Eric L. Green wrote:

Ok there are some problems, but this bugs should be corrected by receiving the updates with a subscription. As a matter of fact, have a look at the webside of Red Hat and check the "erratas" of their RedHat 5.0 version. Is a long list!
Actually, there are only 4 files you need to download to update your Red Hat 5.0 as is currently being shipped.
This is probably my last message here, since I just erased SuSE off my home machine in order to install Red Hat 5.0. I need to evaluate 5.0 for use in our business and SuSE is not suitable for such use for reasons I've detailed previously. Nice distribution for J. Random User, though.
