SUSE 8.2 with defected 'mozilla-hu' package...
Hi List, While attempting to update the desktop of my sister in the X-mas period (SUSE 8.2 with Hungarian locale; no KDE or GNOME supplementary updates, and no previous YOU updates), I got to a mozilla-hu package, which couldn't be updated (or removed). I tried to do it from YaST/YOU and also from the command-line, without any success; also attempted to rebuild her RPM-database, still just an error-message... I'm sorry, can't recall the exact version-numbers; all of the stuff on her workstation was from her boxed SUSE 8.2, and the updates were from about middle of December 2004, where also an updated mozilla-hu package was present. I also checked, maybe I got a not-complete, or corrupted mozilla-hu package, but re-downloading the same package from another mirror gave the same md5sum, and resulted in the same error-message. Here I decided, that it was enough, and from command-line started to remove all of the mozilla-* packages. No success, because that bloody mozilla-hu package was still sitting there. Strange enough: that can't be the _only_ mozilla-related package on the system, because as I know, would depend on mozilla's base package. I have no idea, how to remove/update the above defective mozilla-hu package from her desktop; any advice would be extremely appreciated, how to solve this strange situation! Thank you, Pelibali
