Seems that KDE 3.4.2 is available from 2 days ago: http://www.kde.org/announcements/announce-3.4.2.php But not for SuSE? From now (since KDE 3.4.1) always I've seen available the new KDE versions for SUSE with 'apt-get', but this time I don't locate 3.4.2 in apt-get --and www.suse.com site too... but the new SuSE-Novell site is a mystery for me :( (Sorry for my english, I'm catalan from Majorca island) -- Benjamí http://weblog.bitassa.net .

It's not on the supplemental site yet, so once there, we can get it via Yast or ftp. Fred -- Planet Earth - a subsidiary of Microsoft. We have no bugs in our software, Never! We do have undocumented added features, that you will find amusing, at no added cost to you, at this time.

The packages are there on the ANL mirror.
Ya know, I've made this stupid mistake more than once, and I KNOW others have as well, because I've had private mail from some here admitting doing the same thing. Actually, it's an error in Yast, as it doesn't do something that it should, and when it's late at night and I'm tired, I totally forget to go into Yast, under "Change Source Of Installation" and do a refresh for the supplemental address!! Thanks, as your comment made me realize I'd screwed up again. ;) Fred -- Planet Earth - a subsidiary of Microsoft. We have no bugs in our software, Never! Yeah, it's just a habit with me. Whenever I need to run YAST Install & Remove, I always start with a Refresh in the Change Source of Installation module. I've always assumed this is not a bug, but a deliberate design decision. I think the cost of a Refresh in Change Source as well as the subsidiary cost in the start-up time of Install & Remove made the designers decide not to do it automatically on each launch of Install & Remove.

I should get into the habit of doing that as well.

Maybe. Anyway, I had 450+MB to install tonight, so I'm greatfull that I average 600k a sec. download or it would have been a LONG update. ;) Fred -- Planet Earth - a subsidiary of Microsoft. Thanks for the responses :) I use apt instead of YaST for actualizations. Seems that KDE 3.4.2 now is available, but not 24h ago after one 'apt-get update'.
