As shown in the subject I am having problems printing from a default install SuSE 7.3 system to a DeskJet 697C shared out on Windows 2000(Default no SP's). I am using cups and made sure the smbspool backend is correctly linked and that my Username and Password is set in the printers.conf file(smb://bob:st!m#y@machine1.mydomain). I can print from a WindowsXP machine to the Windows2000 machine after providing a username/password. How can I fix this to work? NeoFax
