Default domain when access apache via IP number
I have a number of virtual host .conf files under /etc/apache2/vhosts.d/ and the sites sit under /srv/www/vhosts/ Now, when I access the server via the IP number (http://xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx it defaults to the first virtual domain in /etc/apache2/vhosts.d/ Where or how do I set my default domain to be a specific domain, even it is hosted as a virtual domain? -- Raoul Snyman Saturn Laboratories Cell: 082 550 3754 E-mail: raoul.snyman@saturnlaboratories.co.za Web: http://www.saturnlaboratories.co.za/ Blog: http://blog.saturnlaboratories.co.za/ Registered Linux User #333298 (http://counter.li.org)

better yet -- since that doesn't actually declare a virtual host (the name is a bit of a misnomer) -- create a /etc/apache2/vhosts.d/_default.conf. The underscore makes sure that it is loaded first, so it will become the default vhost. This is suitable for more complex setups with several IP addresses and different ports. Check what you've got with 'httpd2 -S'. Peter
