[SLE] 6.4 netscrape crashes..(solved)
I've waited before posting because I wanted to make sure that the problem was solved. TO recap, the affected system was running 6.4 and Netscrape 4.72 (and later) 4.73. Both were dying randomly without any error that I could detect under fvwm2. I posted a message here, and Lenz reminded me (by asking if I'd also installed the new xshared updates. I had not, and since doing so I've had zero problems. I have to feel ashamed, and will henceforth exhaust all efforts to locate updates before posting. Lenz: Hope you had a nice party at Linuxworld. Len, The way I look at it, there is so much stuff to deal with, and so many sources of information, no one can be expected to exhaust all avenues before asking for help. This list is set up for us to help each other. Sometimes I get so frazzled I ask out and out stupid questions. Now if you started being just plain lazy, that's a different story.
