I have it set up something like what you have said. With the excteption of: NETCONFIG = "_0 _1" (changed to NETCONFIG="_1") Also my eth0 is tulip (internal) and eth1 is 3c59x (external) IFCONFIG_1="dhcpclient" (but I will make that pppoe) I have done this with readhat 5.0, 5.2, 6.0 with out this much trouble. But for some reason, I have having a huge about of trouble. It seams wich ever card is mentioned last in /etc/modules.conf is the one that gets started. Also, dog@intop.net, I did what you have shown, and still only 1 card worked. ( did leave IFCONFIG1="dhcpclient") btw, do I leave IPADDR_1="" if thats the case?

Ok, I have suse 7.2 Card 1, 3c59x (external) Card 2, Linksys 10/100 [tulip] (internal)

I can insmod the card that doesn't work, and it works, but if I reboot, it seams that the card I insmod is the only one working, and the other one isn't working. And yes, this will be a sorta firewall.

any tips on where to start? I've done so much tinkinger my brain is fried.
