[SuSE Linux] xfce-3.0.0pre1.tar.gz released (fwd)
Is any one else with SuSE 6.1 using XFce now? If so have you tried the latest version? I tried compiling an earlier version with the GTK om SuSE 6.0 but must have messed something up and ended up going back the version (2.4?) based on Xforms. It would be nice if SuSE incudeded XFce with the distribution, as XFCE is pretty nice and works well with KDE (perhaps gnome as well) programs and is pretty fast. joe Good news, XFce 3.0, aka GTK+XFce, pre release 1 is on <A HREF="http://www.xfce.org"><A HREF="http://www.xfce.org</A">http://www.xfce.org</A</A>>, on the download page. Please inform the XFce/Linux community, as wide as possible ;-) I'm also looking for volunteers to translate the po files (NLS, Native Language Support) in foreign langages such as German, Italian, Spanish, etc. Cheers, -- Olivier Fourdan (<A HREF="mailto:fourdan@csi.com">mailto:fourdan@csi.com</A>) Looking for a different desktop ?
