I would like to start-up, configure & run the SuSE personal Firewall.
Any help appreciated.

Do it with Yast 1.Look for 'change system configuration' or something in that kind. Look then in your Suse 7.0 Handbook page 193.The configuration is putted there. After following that my KRN (KDE newsreader) loaded the newsgroups and said he would show them, but nothing happened. So I couldn't subscribe anymore. Keep me informed, pls. To modify anything, check out /etc/rc.firewall before modifying the actual launch script. I've been using it with only a few mods for quite some time, since the release of 6.4 very easy setup and initialization. pb> Phil pb> pb> On Sun, 20 May 2001, you wrote: pb> > I would like to start-up, configure & run the SuSE pb> > personal Firewall. pb> > pb> > Any help appreciated. pb> > pb> > Phil pb> > pb> pb> Do it with Yast 1.Look for 'change system configuration' or pb> something in that kind. pb> Look then in your Suse 7.0 Handbook page 193.The pb> configuration is putted there. pb> pb> pb> After following that my KRN (KDE newsreader) loaded the pb> newsgroups and said he would show them, but nothing pb> happened. pb> So I couldn't subscribe anymore. pb> Keep me informed, pls. pb> pb> pb> Jean-Paul faessen pb> pb> ------------------------------------------------------- pb> pb> -- S.Toms - smotrs@mindspring.com - www.mindspring.com/~smotrs SuSE Linux v7.0+ - Kernel 2.2.18 It is now pitch dark.
