Does anyone know how stable the HFS+ is in SUSE 9.3. It is a part of the vanilla kernel, and I assume part of the 9.3 SuSE kernel. FYI: HFS+ is the current Mac OS X filesystem of choice. Thanks Greg -- Greg Freemyer The Norcross Group Forensics for the 21st Century

Don't know how stable it is in general, but for me it works fine enough. I formated an external disk in USB/Firewire enclosure in Panther and then accessed it both for reading and writing from 9.3 system. No problems so far. -Kastus

-Kastus Thanks.
My project does not start for a couple of weeks, but this looks like a useful way to access the drive without having to use a Mac. Also, I notice that mount only has an option for HFS. Does it automatically figure out if it is HFS or HFS+? Thanks again Greg
