RE: [SLE] Installing Netscape 7.1 on SuSE 8.2

I have been trying to install Netscape (following the instructions). When I type ./netscape-installer form the installation directory (as the instructions, um, instruct) I get the following message.
Xlib:connection to ":0.1" refused by server Xlib: Invalid XDM-AUTHORIZATION-1 key (failed by comparison)
Gtk-WARNING **: cannot open display: :0.1
What does this mean and how do I fix it. I have installed netscape before (on Mandrake 9.0) using this method, and I have never seen this error before. What do I need to do to fix this.
Thanks,

No. Use sux instead of su so that X programs can be run within the X session your normal user owns. Or configure sudo so that you can just type 'sudo <command>' for example 'sudo ./netscape-installer'. Running X as root is 9.5 times out of 10 unneeded. -- Ben Rosenberg ---===---===---===--- mailto:ben@whack.org ----- If two men agree on everything, you can be sure that only one of them is doing the thinking.
