[opensuse] konqueror nspluginviewer taking 199% CPU -- how?
Listmates, konqueror's nspluginviewer has set what appears to be an all time record for utilizing 199% CPU usage. It brought the system to its knees simply from opening a pdf from konqueror. Didn't we just have this question on the list? Unless you specify -L on the ps command line, the output groups all threads belonging to a process. And if a process contains more than one thread, they can run on separate CPUs So your java process has threads that run on two separate CPUs, consuming almost 100% of both, and the ps output sums it up for you Anders -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org
