[opensuse] Converting data DVD back to an iso file
I accidentally deleted my 10.2 iso file from which I created the 10.2-GM DVD. How do I re-create the iso file from this DVD, please? (I would like to download the delta for 10.3 and apply it against this 10.2 iso file.) Cheers. -- Past experience, if not forgotten, is a guide for the future. -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org

A delta from 10.2 to 10.3 would probably be so big as a whole DVD, or more. Useless. - -- Cheers, Carlos E. Wasn't there a delta for the DVD for 10.1 version? (or was it for an earlier version?). Cheers. -- Past experience, if not forgotten, is a guide for the future. -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org

There are deltas made to pass from one beta version to the next, then to the RCs, and finally to the GM. But they go one step by one. But from one version of the distro to the next, like 10.0 to 10.1 or 10.2 to 10.3 I don't think it would be viable, I have not seen it, AFAIK (all files change). - -- Cheers, Carlos E.
