[opensuse] email archive download
This is probably a long shot, but here goes. Is there a way to download the email archives for this list from the last 3 or 4 days? I made a mistake on my inbox limit, which caused my server to not receive any more emails, which made the list archive server kick me off this list when the emails to me bounced. I am back on now, having fixed my email limit problem, but I would like to look at the emails I missed. I can browse them in the mailing list archive on the web, but email would be better, because it is easier to sort them by thread. -- George Box: 42.1 | KDE Plasma 5 | AMD Phenom IIX4 | 64 | 32GB Laptop #1: 42.1 | Plasma 5.4.7, Qt 5.7.0 | Core i7-4710HQ | 64 | 16GB Laptop #2: 42.1 | KDE Plasma 5 | Core i5 | 64 | 8GB -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse+owner@opensuse.org

https://lists.opensuse.org/ google *is* your friend, at least in the particular case :) -- (paka)Patrick Shanahan Plainfield, Indiana, USA @ptilopteri http://en.opensuse.org openSUSE Community Member facebook/ptilopteri http://wahoo.no-ip.org Photo Album: http://wahoo.no-ip.org/gallery2 Registered Linux User #207535 @ http://linuxcounter.net -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse+owner@opensuse.org

You can download monthly mbox'es via http://lists.opensuse.org/.

I haven't tried it, but I expect you can either have your email program read the mbox'es directly or use formail to unpack into individual emails. -- Per Jessen, Zürich (9.3°C) http://www.dns24.ch/ - free dynamic DNS, made in Switzerland. -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse+owner@opensuse.org

No. There are direct links to download whole months, up to today. gzipped. Depending on the mail client you use you can import the expanded mbox file, or read it directly by placing the file in a directory it reads. If you use filtering/sorting, you can also use formail to feed the file into the system, as Per mentions, and filter/sort it. Details depend on your details. -- Cheers / Saludos, Carlos E. R. Ok, thanks - that is helpful. -- George Box: 42.1 | KDE Plasma 5 | AMD Phenom IIX4 | 64 | 32GB Laptop #1: 42.1 | Plasma 5.4.7, Qt 5.7.0 | Core i7-4710HQ | 64 | 16GB Laptop #2: 42.1 | KDE Plasma 5 | Core i5 | 64 | 8GB -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse+owner@opensuse.org
