Sometimes I can not contact my ISP and looking in the information that kinternet gives me I found following pieces which I hope could shed light in this phenomene. -->Default route OK -->warning, no nameserver found /etc/resolve.conf -->Nameserver (DNS) failure , may not work Do not know if I also get this message if my connection is succesfull. I am running SuSe 7.2 right from the cd, with KDE2 Is there something my resolve.conf should have included?

your /etc/resolv.conf should look like --------------------------------- search indo.net.id nameserver 202.155.30.227 nameserver 202.159.32.2 nameserver 202.159.33.2 nameserver 202.158.3.6 ---------------------------------- provided that indo.net.id is your isp, either way this /etc/resolv.conf will work. Thanks for the info. My nameserver list was not complete. At least two numbers were missing. Perhaps I have no problems any more ;-).
