Samba is the only direction for setting up a windows domain controller under *nix. I'd goto the samba.org site and read through the very extensive documentation there. Personally we use 3 samba/ldap servers as domain controllers running samba 3 ontop of 9.1. Regards, Ben

www.google.com/linux where there are several articles, I can't vouch for their usefulness. Samba 3.x can do both primary and backup domain controller functions. Regards Sid. -- Sid Boyce .... Hamradio G3VBV and keen Flyer =====LINUX ONLY USED HERE=====
