Hello, I recently re-installed SuSE 7.3 Pro on my desktop at home (not ready to upgrade to 8.0). I promptly updated all available packages, including the latest kernel RPM's (2.4.16 AFAIK). However, USB Audio stopped working. I use a XITEL MD-PORT DG2 for copying mp3's to my Minidisc recorder. This used to work great until I upgraded from the stock kernel. Has anyone else experienced anything similar? Should I try downgrading to get this functionality back? Does it matter what I'm using for sound (OSS or ALSA)? Any info is appreciated. Thanks. - Greg
