I think I kept libdvdcss that I tracked down and installed last November for SUSE 10.0. Is that version still good with newer releases of SuSE, xine, etc? What about codecs in general? Do they have a pretty long shelf-life? Or do they need to be recompiled for new versions of whatever system they'll be used in? I've used exactly the same files that worked under SuSE v9.1. They also work under v10.1. The libdvdcss2 from last November is OK but there are newer xine-ui files on packman.links2linux site. Also the w32codec-all from last year is OK. Cheers. -- Ignorance can be corrected.
