Re: [SuSE Linux] graphical mode login in
if you want to logon onto a regular console, you can just switch to another terminal. just hit ctrl-alt-f1 (through f6). to get back to x, just hit ctrl-alt-f7. f7 is reserved for x, i think...and you can log onto an ascii term at any point (whether you're logged into x or not) -derek -----Original Message----- From: Carlos Arroyo Junior <carlosar@dca.fee.unicamp.br> To: suse-linux-e@suse.com <suse-linux-e@suse.com> Date: Friday, November 27, 1998 6:53 AM Subject: [SuSE Linux] graphical mode login in
I would like to boot and login in graphical mode.
I know how to do that. But if something gets wrong it is usefull
to login in ASCII mode.
What should I do if suddenly I can't login in
graphical mode and I want to switch again to ASCII mode?
How can I get back to ASCII mode if I can't login in by graphical mode?
Can I have this option :
- boot by floppy -> ASCII mode - boot by HD -> graphical ?
Thanks
Carlos
