[SLE] gimp, kde, and icons
I am using 6.2, kwm, with kde. Something wierd is happening. I use gimp, so I put it on my desktop. I made a new icon for gimp (i didn't like the one supplied) using icon editor. I saved the icon to /home/my_home_dir/.kde/share/icons/. I then right cliked on the gimp icon on the desktop and picked properties, chose the "execute" tab and picked my icon from the ones available. Problem is, now when I start gimp from this desktop shortcut all the colors on my desktop are inverted. It worked fine before I did this. Anything I can do to fix this? I am willing to go back to the original icon, just can't find it. Try starting X with a higher color depth: tartx -- -bpp 16 startx -- -bpp 24 startx -- -bpp 32 and see if it helps.
