I have installed several of the kde rpm packages, but when I try to install kbase I get a "failed dependency" message telling me that kbase needs libgif.so.2. Well, libgif.so.2 is in /opt/kde/lib as a link to libgif.so.2.0.3. Since kbase does not complain about the other libraries it needs (which are also in /opt/kde/lib), I wonder what else I need to do. Any help you can give me will be greatly appreciated. billmadsen@worldnet.att.net -- To get out of this list, please send email to majordomo@suse.com with this text in its body: unsubscribe suse-linux-e
