[opensuse] Putty & certificates
Hin, I had Putty working OK with certificates, but I seem to remember a recent update. Now Putty does not work any more with certificates. Does anyone experience this ? I'm running OS12.2. qPutty works, but there are some problems with the rendering of the screen. I'm running Putty 0.61 and it works just fine with openSUSE 12.3, but I also used it with earlier versions. -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse+owner@opensuse.org

Hi, I'm sorry for the late reply. I didn't see your response until now. I now see I didn't explicitly mention that the Putty I mean is running native under Linux. I'm running a development snapshot 0.62 of Putty. It's from the Packman-repo, installed on june 27. I'll have to see if I can revert back to the previous version. Yast does not mention any alternative version except for the i586 version I don't want because I'm running 64bit. Thanks anyway, Koenraad Lelong -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse+owner@opensuse.org

I downloaded the source-rpm of putty 0.62 from OS 12.3 and compiled it. The resulting rpm behaves the same. If I could find how to configure and compile putty maybe I could see if certificates are compiled in or for some reason left out. Or if it's something else.
