K3b v3.4.0 is taking about 50mins to rip a CD, this seems like a *very* long time and I'm sure it used to be a lot quicker. Phil

Do you mean KAudioCreator 1.12, which is a part of KDE 3.4.0? There is a patch to fix it on the KDE buglist. If you would like, you could get the src.rpm from http://ftp.gwdg.de/pub/linux/misc/suser-jmorris/ and rebuild, or if you had an x86_64 machine, there are the rpms available there.
