Hello everybody. I'm trying to avoid the adquisition of Live Communications Server suite of Microsoft, the main interesting features of this software are: 1) Establishing multipoint video conference. 2) Bandwith control. 3) Permissions assignment for users to only view/listen or interact at the conference. As requisites the software must comply with: a) The client software must have a windows and linux version. b) The server software, MCU, may work on windows or linux, linux preferred :) It would be great if the software has a friendly administration, but this is not mandatory. I've been searching with google, at several linux mail lists, including this one, and found several packages/projects, but the most compellings to me were: 1) MBone (Open Source) 2) Earth-Link (MBone based, Open Source) 3) Rendez-Vous (Open Source) 4) Isabel (Commercial) 5) Click To Meet (Commercial) From all the above, the only one which seems to be updated and with present support is "Click To Meet". Do you know any Open Source software that fits or gets closer to what i need ? Best regards and thank you. Oxiel ___________________________________ Yahoo!
