----------------------- Hi Michael, You are probably looking for Krusader file manager. Very nice simple 2 pane file manager program. Looks somewhat like MC too, but with some gui eye candy. Also, remember you can use Konqueror as such by selecting Window>Split window. This works very well too and you can split the windows as many times as needed, which proves very useful many times. I recently came about a tool called gmc (mc for gnome) which comes with SuSE (at least in 8.1 Professional). Perhaps it fits your needs...? Regards, Heiko
