When executing K3B 0.10.2cvs on a SuSE 9.0 Pro machine under Gnome 2.2.2, an info box comes up with the following notice: ===== No support for ATAPI with cdrdao You will not be able to use all your reading devices as copy sources since there is at least one not configured to use SCSI emulation and your system does not support ATAPI with cdrdao. Solution: The best and recommended solution is to enable ide-scsi (SCSI emulation) for all devices. This way you won't have any problems. ===== Again, I don't understand the solution, i.e. I have only the vaguest idea of how to enable SCSI emulation. I looked in YaST but could find no obvious way to do it. Any assistance will be appreciated. Don Henson

This isn't a problem. It just means that you won't be able to do a CD-to-CD copy. You'd just have to copy the files from the original CD to your hard disc and burn them from there. Great! That's one of three. Now if I can just get the permissions set... By the way, I almost forgot to say thanks. Thanks. Don Henson
