Hello everyone I am trying to be able to let users on my system ftp to my machine through Konqueror, can anyone help me with this problem? Do I have to have the FTP server installed? TIA -- David M. Yes, you need to run an FTP server. Install WUFTP (ftpdir.rpm and wuftpd.rpm) using YaST2 and uncommented the following line in inetd.conf: ftp stream tcp nowait root /usr/sbin/tcpd wu.ftpd -a Restart the inetd daemon using rcinted restart (su root)and you should see: Shutting down inetd done Starting inetd done M -- Martin Webster <mwebster@ntlworld.com> Registered Linux User #230322 http://homepage.ntlworld.com/spider-monkey/
