ARG: SSH keep wanting password
I am trying to configure ssh to use public keys w/o passwords. I KNOW THIS IS INSECURE. Please don't simply reply this is bad with no solution. Once again, I KNOW THIS IS INSECURE. It works fine on 80 Irix servers, 5 SuSE 7.2 servers, but not this particuliar SuSE 7.0 server. All permissions are ok. /root is 755 /root/.ssh is 750 /root/.ssh/authorized_keys is 600 Yes, sshd is looking for authorized_keys NOT authorized_keys2 All keys are ok. The same keyfile works on 85 other servers Verbose logging simply says the server refused the key. I am using the same sshd_config file that works on all other servers. I am using: OpenSSH_2.9.9p2 Anyone have any ideas? Thanks. CC

Verbose logging simply says the server refused the key.
