Verify i686 Tumbleweed .iso
Hi, I downloaded a i686 tumbleweed offline image here: https://get.opensuse.org/tumbleweed/ Things went well as far as downloading goes. I compared the output of sha256sum -b openSUSE-Tumbleweed-LegacyX86-DVD-i586-Snapshot20240112-Media.iso to the shasum on the website here: https://get.opensuse.org/tumbleweed/ They do not match. I have not worked with importing gpg public key yet. What is the recommended solution here to verify the .iso? paul@paul-Thinkcentre-M57p:~/Downloads> ls -lah total 3.4G drwxr-xr-x 1 paul users 194 Jan 15 23:33 . drwxr-xr-x 1 paul users 724 Jan 15 18:38 .. -rw-r--r-- 1 paul users 1.7K Jan 15 23:33 gpg-pubkey-29b700a4-62b07e22.asc -rw-r--r-- 1 paul users 3.4G Jan 15 23:15 openSUSE-Tumbleweed-LegacyX86-DVD-i586-Snapshot20240112-Media.iso paul@paul-Thinkcentre-M57p:~/Downloads> sha256sum -b openSUSE-Tumbleweed-LegacyX86-DVD-i586-Snapshot20240112-Media.iso 73528a6b357b9889983a21291138d2b4cd6fdb6df5a749d6f01db7ee2e6574fc *openSUSE-Tumbleweed-LegacyX86-DVD-i586-Snapshot20240112-Media.iso Thinkcentre-M57p:~/Downloads> I am not certain as to why the font changes while trying to paste from Konsole into Thunderbird. Is there a solution for this that I can adjust fairly easily? Also: https://en.opensuse.org/SDB:Download_help#Checksums *Displays the following error*: [6aebfc64680cfd27be1aceea] 2024-01-16 05:43:26: Fatal exception of type "MWException" -Thanks

The checksum matched for me: openSUSE-Tumbleweed-LegacyX86-DVD-i586-Snapshot20240115-Media.iso 6dc8c85ab29e651db901f0b786fda8e05852e44ebd8c213332c9e4b462c418c0 Konsole is a text terminal emulator. By default, these emulators use a monospaced (non-proportional) font which allows columns in lines of text to line up. Thunderbird, being a GUI app, treats plain text pasted into it no differently than keystrokes, so the appearance of the text changes (the underlying data does not.) 3) DuckDuckGo tells me "Fatal exception of type MWException" is a MediaWiki error related to the configured location of '/mediawiki-cache' not being writable by the server. I am not seeing this error.
