[opensuse] ... corrupt or not a torrent file
Okay, I installed ktorrent. Docs I read say "simply click on the torrent file..." I do that and always get an error saying that it's corrupt or not a torrent file. I've tried it with a lot of different torrent files... same result for all of them. Downloaded the "torrent file" (blahblah.torrent), opened it in ktorrent-- same result. Ktorrent is joke software, right? -- "Peace hath her victories no less renown'd than war." --John Milton -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org

Scratch that. It's just the opensuse torrents that are screwed up. Just tried a mandriva torrent and it's working fine. So I guess the problem's not with ktorrent. -- "Peace hath her victories no less renown'd than war." --John Milton -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org

And as a further datapoint, the SuSE torrents work fine in Ktorrent once you find the right page to get them from.... How would any of us be running opensuse if the torrents didn't work? -- _____________________________________ John Andersen -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org
