[opensuse] after reboot headphone sound only
Hello, after a reboot sound is always on headphone only. If I insert the headphone plug and then remove it again, sound is on the speakers again. Switch between headphone and speakers (insert/remove plug) works perfectly. Just when I reboot, speaker sound is gone. (When just logging out as user and log in again, sound remains on speakers). I played around with compiz, I must confess. Before sound was normal. Where must I search to find what could cause the laptop to switch on headphone sound by default when booting? I use openSUSE 10.3 on a HP laptop. If you need any more info, please tell me which... thanks. I do not think that it is related to your problem, but since no one answered you: http://www.thinkwiki.org/wiki/Installing_OpenSUSE_10.3_on_a_ThinkPad_R61#Sou... So, please make sure that alsa activates your speaker and not only the headphone.
