I followed the instructions at http://portal.suse.com/sdb/en/2004/12/jk_zaurus_usb.html But I cannot get the Zaurus to sync with Qtopia. I have it to where I can ping it from my PC, but thats it. Anybody have this working? Also, I am using the Sharp ROM Version 2.38. I am not opposed to trying OPIE or some other open ROM, but then, how would I upgrade or change the ROM if I cannot sync with the Zaurus?

I had it working, but started using unison instead which I've found to be a much better solution.

Backup to a card, then flash the ROM. Note however that there were some pretty major changes with the official ROM from 2.38 to 3.1, so not all the data you backup will be restored. Regards, Ben

You use a compact flash card: http://www.openzaurus.org/web/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=20&Itemid=44 -- Bill
